Our developers have been working hard on making the site the best viewing experience for you. Some people have lower bandwidth, so we initially limited the new videos to our mobile, or lower resolution stream, so more people could view the videos.
Yesterday our developers finished the user settings feature. This allows you to decide how you’ll view your videos. HD (high definition), or SD (standard definition), and if the videos will automatically load and advance to the next page.
While some may think the auto play is a no-brainer, others have requested this as they may want to watch a particular video a few times before it advances to the next lesson.
Once your user settings are switched to your preference, the site will remember your preferences each time you log in. Changing the settings is as easy as clicking on the SETTINGS tab under each video.
Much more to come, but rest assured we’re working on all issues.
Go Swim will be offering many new services and upgrades in 2013, and today we announce the first: Go Swim’s subscription site http://www.goswimtv.com has been upgraded to a fully responsive site. If you’re not sure what that means, trust us…it’s good news.
Go Swim’s friends and subscribers are located in every nook of the planet. In order to best serve everyone, and their viewing preferences (computer vs smartphone vs tablet), we’ve completely re-designed and re-coded our premium website so that it plays seamlessly on every type and size of device.
“Responsive” means that no matter what device you’re using to view our subscription site, the site will recognize the dynamics of your device, and reconfigure how it’s presented to you. We’ve taken out distractions when your screen is smaller, and made the video a more featured object.
While the look of the website is what you’ll notice, for us, a new build was important so that we can accomodate new features that will be rolling out throughout the year. We’ve listened to your requests, and are building the best possible website for swimming education.
Check out the various screen shots below, and jump on in to check it out for yourself. Compare how Go Swim’s subscription site looks on your computer, smartphone, and tablet. No matter how you look at it…no matter where you coach…GoSwimTV.com brings you thousands of high-quality HD videos, Olympic swimmers, and hundreds of drills, fully searchable… all for just pennies per day.

We’re pleased to announce a new series of videos we’ve put together with Martyn Forde, 2008 Olympian from Barbardos. We initially met Martyn a couple years ago at the Charlotte Ultra Swim, and remained a fan of his through the rest of his career.
It’s beautiful to see the great swimming from various parts of the world, and we were able to catch up with Martyn in Ann Arbor, while he was was training with Club Wolvering Elite.
It’s some beautiful footage, and great ideas to model your stroke after, as well as a very simple, yet challenging drill with a kick board.
All the following videos pertain to freestyle.
We’ve added some great clips of NCAA Champion and Portuguese Olympian, Carlos Almeida. Some great technique that will be sure to give some insight on how a swimmer goes 1:51 for the 200 yard breaststroke!
We’re back to production mode, but we’ve also been working on some very big infrastructure improvements. Hopefully we’ll be pushing through some new builds and features very soon.
Here are all the new clips of Chinese Olympian Wu Peng, and it’s some pretty interesting technique options for butterfly. Hope you enjoy and learn something like we did. All Wu Peng videos here. New clips below:
We’ve uploaded some cool new vids of Olympian Jessica Hardy, and our good friend, World University Games Champion, Bobby Savulich. Bobby shows some very cool drills with tools available through his website, and we’ll be posting more explanation of the drills soon. For now, here are the updates:
We’re pleased to announce a new server location in Madrid, Spain, for faster access and streaming to our subscription service.
If you’re a subscriber from Spain, let us know how it’s working.
